Travel Agent Training Pre: Co: Elect: Dual-level course designed for individuals interested in a career as a Travel Agent and also for entry level Travel Agents. Course work includes domestic and international air reservations and ticketing, cruises, rail, hotel, tours, destinations, selling travel, and agency operations. Automated (Airline) Reservations Training Pre: Co: Elect: Utilizing American Airlines' Sabre system, students are introduced to basic automated airline reservations procedures. Computer functions presented include: creating a PNR (Passenger Name Record); changes to existing passenger data; determining flight availability; selling/wait listing flights; fare quoting. Each student is assigned a CRT, providing an optimal level of hands-on training. Instructor clarifies a difficult format and enhances class lectures by directly accessing the "live" American Airlines SABRE System. Typing speed of 20 wpm required.
