    This 8 hour continuing education (CE) class is designed for the massage therapist. Massage therapy for individuals with cancer use to be contraindicated. Nowadays with the right training and experience, massage therapists can safely use skilled touch to help soothe pain, discomfort, insomnia, anxiety, and much more! In this one day, fast-paced, comprehensive course, we focus on what we CAN DO for those living with cancer or are in early remission using safe techniques to not only touch someone physically, but spiritually and emotionally as well. Cancer massage research, myths and facts, precautions, contraindications, considerations, safety for the therapist and the client, medication guidelines, and how the mind-body connection is so important in this work are taught in this fast-paced, interactive class. Safe techniques for lymph node removal, neuropathy, and touch for the medically frail, as well as draping and positioning, are demonstrated.

    Covers critical thinking and hands on adaptions to work safely and effectively with clients who are in, , or who have undergone, cancer treatment. Students able to practice adapting for short term, long term and late effects of cancer treatment as well as gathering relevant client information, even with a very short intake time. This class culminates in a client clinic where students have the opportunity to provide a 60-minute massage to a person affected by cancer. This 24-hour training (24 CEUs) is designed for the licensed massage therapist.     Enhances therapeutic massage skills/techniques by adding cupping techniques to a massage session. Cupping is an alternative treatment used to manipulate soft tissue, by creating vacuum, stimulating circulation and assist in reducing inflammation. Students are taught the various types of cups used, safe handling and the benefits and contraindications. . This course includes a vacuum cupping set. This eight-training course is designed for licensed massage therapists and provides eight (8) continuing education units (CEUs).

    Provides those licensed massage therapists, who already have completed the Fundamentals of Cupping training, with advanced cupping skills designed to enhance their knowledge and skills on range of motion and static techniques. This course focuses on range of motion by training muscle groups with static pinning, stretching and cupping. This eight-hour training provides licensed massage therapists with eight (8) continuing education units (CEUs). The course focuses on increasing range of motion by treating muscle groups with static pinning, stretching and cupping. Prerequisite: HHWW 019 ??? Foundations of Cupping. Prerequisite:    HHWW 019

    Exposes the massage therapist to mindfulness-skills that can help potentiate their therapeutic competence by learning techniques based on Tragerwork principles. Application of such skills aims to stimulate the brain's neuroplasticity, introduce new neural sensory information, and activate positive neuromuscular changes in clients. Inherent to the skills is support to the therapist's own self-care. The basis of this class in particular, is the experience of emotional integration and efficient respiration. Torso, back, arms and shoulders, and their interconnection with the rest of the body, are the focus of this training. Prerequisite: Must be a licensed massage therapist to enroll in this course.

Application of such skills aims to stimulate the brain's neuroplasticity, introduce new neural sensory information, and activate positive neuromuscular changes in clients. Inherent to the skills is support to the therapist's own self-care. The basis of this class in particular, is the experience of grounding by promoting proprioceptive rooting for balance and stability. Feet, legs and hips, and their interconnection with the rest of the body, are the focus of this training. Prerequisite: Must be a licensed massage therapist to enroll in this course.

Inherent to the skills is support to the therapist' own self-care. The basis of this class in particular, is the experience of untethered expression and upright lightness. Neck, head, face and shoulders, and their interconnection with the rest of the body, are the focus of this training. Prerequisite: Must be a licensed massage therapist to enroll in this course.

    Enhances the licensed massage therapists' massage skills by adding cupping techniques to a massage session. This course focuses on the facial and abdominal regions and reviews the various issues pertaining to facial cupping (aesthetics, wrinkles, vertigo and TMJ disorders) and abdominal cupping (constipation, IBS, acid reflux and scaring). This training course is designed for the licensed massage therapist and provides eight (8) continuing education units (CEU???s) towards maintaining industry certification.

    Enhances the licensed massage therapists' skills with a focus on the Pin and Release technique of the upper and lower body. Students are taught how to identify the muscle or muscle group as well as how to perform the pin and release technique to aid in releasing muscle tension and to increase range of motion. This training is designed for the licensed massage therapist and provides eight (8) continuing education units (CEU???s) towards maintaining industry certification.
