The US&R Planning Team Manager course is designed to provide jurisdictions with the same training received by the FEMA US&R Planning Team Training Course. First responders completing the course will be prepared to work as part of an urban search and rescue task force to respond to natural, man-made disasters and acts of terrorism requiring technical rescue operations. This course is designed to provide the first responder with the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties as a member of the FEMA US&R Planning Team on a FEMA US&R Task Force when combined with adequate documented practical experience.
