CESP 831. Social Psychology of Education A critical study of the individual based on the influences of, impact and interactions with, society at all levels of the individual¿s culture. Throughout the course, theory, research, and practice as they relate to social issues and problems are discussed. Students study the relationship between social settings and the psychological functioning of children, adolescents, and adults, as well as the role of the social scientist within the cultural, academic, and organizational operations of education. Prerequisites: CESP 701, 728, and 820.
