Applications of the elementary functions to practical problems. Topics from trigonometry include fundamental identities, radian measure, graphing, inverse trigonometric functions and solving triangles and trigonometric equations. Topics from plane analytic geometry needed in calculus are also covered including vectors, polar coordinates, conic sections and parametric curves . Concludes with an introduction to sequences and series.
