  • Technical/Vocation Credit Accepted:
    The BAAS-AA program accepts up to 36 hours of technical/vocational course credit if the student has completed an AAS degree, while the BS-ISS program does not accept any technical/vocational course credit.
  • Credit For Life Experience:
    Credit for life experience is not given.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    To be accepted into the BAAS-AA program, the student must hold an AAS degree and have a 2.25 GPA. Contact TonesK@uhd.edu for more info. The BS-ISS requires a 2.0 GPA for acceptance as a major. Contact HovsepianM@uhd.edu for more info.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    Standardized test scores are not required.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Letters of recommendation are not required.
  • Essay:
    An essay is not required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $35 non-refundable application fee ($75 for a late application).
  • Interview:
    An interview is not required.
  • Associates Degree Required:

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Although the hours for all attempted courses are counted as “transfer hours” (whether the grade is “F” or “D”), the actual acceptance or the application of “D” grades to degree plans varies between programs at UHD
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    At least 30 semester credit hours of course work toward the degree must be taken at UHD. At least 18 of those 30 hours must be in the upper division.
