This course will provide opportunities for the use of SPSS for statistical analysis, the interpretation of published empirical studies and the interpretation and reporting of statistical results.   • An introductory course presenting the computation and use of descriptive and inferential statistics in the social sciences. Students are taught how to calculate statistical measures by hand and by using statistical software packages employed by researchers in the social sciences. Laboratory fee: $25.
