Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Unless associate degree has been earned, transfer students with fewer than 63 credits who seek financial aid may be required to provide an official high school transcript to establish eligibility for federal financial aid programs. Transfer students entering UST for the fall semester will be automatically considered for a scholarship. For an estimate, please use our Net Price Calculator.

• Technical/Vocation Credit Accepted:
  UST does not accept Vocational or occupational training credits.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  A cumulative grade point average of 2.50 (on 4.0 scale) is required. If you have less than 24 credit hours at the time of application, a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 or higher from all colleges/universities previously attended and a high school GPA 2.80 (4.0 scale) or higher are required.
• Official Transcripts:
  Transfer Applicants must submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities previously attended. If you have completed less than 24 credit hours at the time of application, official high school transcripts are required.
• SAT Scores:
  If you have completed less than 24 credit hours at the time of application, ACT/SAT scores are required.
• Essay:
  An essay or personal statement may be required of some applicants.
• Application Fee:
  There is a non-refundable $25 application fee (not required if applicant has attended UST within past 25 months or with a College Board Fee Waiver).
• Interview:
  An interview may be required of some applications.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  No course with a grade lower than "C" (GPA 2.0) will be accepted for transfer.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  UST will accept up to 72 hours from two-year colleges. A maximum of 90 transferable credit hours may be applied to degree plan. Students Must take 36 hours in residence at UST unless academic committee grants exception.
