Increases in provider injury, emphasis on the spread of communicable diseases, protection of patient health information, and the need for improved disaster planning have resulted in the need for extensive orientation programs for staff and students employed or completing clinical experiences in these settings. This course is designed to provide the student enrolled in a health care program to meet these regulatory requirements.
