This one-hour independent study will focus on the spring lecture series, "Ecumenical Faith Reflections on International Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding: Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of John XXIII's Encyclical, "Peace on Earth." This lecture series sponsored by the Wolfington Center at Cabrini College features diverse faith-based perspectives on international peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and human rights. Although religion can source of political and social division, this series will illustrate by contrast the valuable resources religious believers can draw upon to work with other faith and secular perspectives to realize John XXIII's vision of a more just, peaceful world.
