The course will focus on family risk factors for later delinquency and criminal behavior as well as preventative intervention and treatment. This course will examine a variety of family issues including child maltreatment, domestic violence, family alcoholism, drug addiction, family chaos, inadequate or neglectful parenting, corporal punishment, which are known risk factors for later criminal behavior.
