Integration of basic functions, techniques of analytic and numerical integration, and Fourier series and transforms will be presented. Applications to Physiology are stressed and include quantitative analysis of ion-sensitive fluorescent dye experiments, mathematical descriptions of kinetic experiments, reaction rate theory, theory of diffusion, and image formation with microscopes.
