Develops nursing skills to meet the biopsychosocial needs of individuals across the lifespan. Includes math computational skills and basic computer instruction related to the delivery of nursing care. Provides supervised learning experiences in college nursing laboratories and/or cooperating agencies. Lecture 4 hours, Laboratory 9 hours, Total 13 hours per week.

Provides supervised learning experiences in college nursing laboratories and/or cooperating agencies. Lecture 4 hours, Laboratory 12 hours, Total 16 hours per week.

Prerequisite: Acceptance to the LPN to RN Bridge Program Introduces the role of the registered nurse through concepts and skill development in the discipline of professional nursing. This course serves as a bridge course for licensed practical nurses and is based upon individualized articulation agreements, mobility exams, or other assessment criteria as they relate to local programs and services areas. Includes math computational skills and basic computer instruction related to the delivery of nursing care. Lecture/Laboratory variable hours per week.
