Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Nursing Program Introduces nursing principles including concepts of health and wellness and the nursing process. Develops nursing skills to meet the biopsychosocial needs of individuals across the lifespan. Includes math computational skills and basic computer instruction related to the delivery of nursing care. Provides supervised learning experiences in college nursing laboratories and/or cooperating agencies. Lecture 4 hours, Laboratory 9 hours, Total 13 hours per week.
