A comprehensive study of the gene in prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems. Analysis of the molecular anatomy of the chromosome, structure and organization of the genes and their regulatory regions, and protein (DNA interactions, transcriptional and post transcriptional control, RNA processing, and translation into proteins).
