This course will prepare you to incorporate yoga into your life to reduce stress. You will write in a journal to record your goals, questions, thoughts and experiences. you will experiment with different yoga movements, breathing, and meditation techniques to discover what will help you to feel better and function more effectively in your personal and professional life. Students should bring a yoga mat and a blanket to each session and wear comfortable clothing. 8 sessions. About the instructor: Maria Blon is a registered yoga teacher who has been teaching since 2006. She has been learning and practicing yoga daily since 2001. In addition to her initial yoga training, she has taken courses in restorative yoga, yoga therapy, and mood lifting yoga. Each class is adapted to the interests of her participants.
