Students must have Basic Life Support certification, current liability insurance coverage and current immunizations for the duration of the course. Corequisite: NIP1403. Develops knowledge of pathophysiology of complex disease processes. Determines cause and prevention of morbidity and mortality. Applies knowledge in this course to the clinical setting in NIP 210: Advanced Nursing Practice. Prerequisite: Completion, with a grade of C or better, in NIP 120 and NIP 125 and NIP 130 OR successful completion of a Practical Nursing curriculum. Students must have Basic Life Support certification, current liability insurance coverage and current immunizations for the duration of the course. Corequisite: NIP 210.
