An introduction to the process of science, its literature, and its opportunities. Lecture portion considers the nature of science through a critical review of its literature - historical and current - to provide context for how science is undertaken and reported. Seminar portion provides exposure to breaking news and emerging issues in science. Activities may include guest speakers, fi eld trips.
