Investigates the changing nature of boundaries including ideas, tourists, armies, corporations, students, workers, capital, missionaries, diseases, criminal cartels, pollution, rare animals, entertainment, and cultural products. Explores the functional meanings and realities of sovereignty, federation, confederation, colonialism, imperialism, and international cooperation.
