Evolution is the one unifying theory of modern biology. This course is an examination of the history of evolutionary theory, current concepts of the mechanisms producing change in living organisms, and evidences of these mechanisms. Three hours lecture. Prerequisite: BIO 36404. Fall.
  • 3.00 Credits

An introduction to the study of inland waters. The course focuses on the physical, chemical, biological and morphological characteristics of lakes, streams, rivers, estuaries, and wetlands. Students will learn the theory and concepts of limnology in lectures and practice the techniques of water sampling and data collection and assessment in laboratory field studies. Two hours lecture, two hours lab. Prerequisite: HC NRM 217 or similar course. Hocking Campus Only. Spring
