An introduction to the basic concepts and philosophy of modeling wildlife populations. The course focuses on the use and misuse of models and processes for model development, construction, and implementation. Emphasis will be on teaching students about how to use wildlife population models to make projections, evaluate management decisions, and defend recommendations rather than creating new models. Two hours lecture, two hours lab. Prerequisite: HC Math 250 or similar course. Hocking Campus Only. Spring
