Emphasis is placed on the preparation of a portfolio of original artwork, the preparation of a photographic portfolio, approaches to résuméwriting, and interview techniques. Upon completion, students should be able to mount original art for portfolio presentation, photograph and display a professional slide portfolio, and write an effective résumé.

Upon completion, students should be able to complete an open-air landscape painting employing brush, knife, scumbling, and glazing techniques. Prerequisite: ART 240
