In their role as pests and vectors of plant diseases, insects are our greatest competitors for food; destroying a large proportion of our post-harvest stores and reaping untold pre-harvest damage to nearly all plant parts in every plant-based food system in the world. This course is fill introduction to beneficial and pestiferous insects and their management in the context of agriculture arid is supported by the application of applied entomology in 6 semesters of Regenerative Field Lab (ENV 200) for majors in the Environmental Science Regenerative Agriculture track.
