Reading, storytelling, music, and creative arts blend seamlessly with yoga movement to develop focus, confidence, strength, flexibility, and self esteem. In YogaKids classes, traditional yoga techniques have been recreated in playful, simple and fun ways. Using the Multiple Intelligences Theory of Harvard educator Howard Gardner as a foundation, each pose becomes a springboard for activities that open the doorway to fully integrated learning. Fourteen YogaKids elements enhance the learning experience and tap all of the senses.

Beginning players are instructed in basics. Advanced players are provided an opportunity to take part in a functional training program where the challenges are greater. In this co-ed camp all players are instructed in individual techniques and tactics. Through the use of small-sided games, ?street soccer?, tournament play and sound tactical training all aspects of the beautiful game are covered. Matches are played for fun while giving coaches an opportunity to evaluate your progress. Included in the camp will be the use of the "Coerver Training" method. This camp is co-ed for ages 4-6. DRESS AND GEAR: Please arrive dressed to play. Bring sneakers, soccer shoes (spikes), a water bottle, topical insect repellent and topical sun block.

Instruction will be on the basic fundamentals of baseball including hitting, fielding, pitching, throwing, and base running. In addition, there will be intense work on learning and improving skills, effective drills, and proper work habits. You will be placed into an appropriate group based on age and ability. You will have the opportunity to learn about more than one position during the specialty groups. The goal is to make sure you leave with a greater knowledge and love of baseball. This camp is co-ed for ages 7-16. DRESS AND GEAR: Please bring glove, bat, baseball hat, long athletic pants, athletic footwear (rubber spikes/sneakers), a water bottle, topical insect repellent and topical sun block. It provides a superior learning experience in which you will have the opportunity to develop to the utmost of your ability. Three levels of tennis programs are offered de?pending on ability: mini, regular, and tournament. Guidance will be given to every individual to help him or her seek the successes of this dynamic game. There will be group instruction with no more than a 5:1 ratio of campers to tennis instructor. Each day will consist of conditioning, group instruction, stroke orientation and production, drills, footwork, mental toughening and match plays held on the college?s new tennis courts. Fun, games, and sportsmanship will be an integral part of this unique camp experience. This camp is co-ed for ages 8-18. DRESS AND GEAR: Arrive dressed to play. The workouts that you will be doing are easy enough to do at home, or at school and are a great way to keep in shape over the summer. You will be making new friends and learning the importance of working out the way that is best for you body. This camp will be engaging and informational, and the material presented will be of good use if you choose to play a sport, or take interest in working out on your own to stay fit. You will learn the correct way to work out, and how the machines work. In addition, you will create your own workout routines and how to chart your progress. This camp is co-ed for ages 12-18. DRESS: Clothing should be workout appropriate such as loose fitting t-shirts, tank tops, and shorts or capris. You need to wear athletic footgear, preferably all terrain or athletic sneakers.

Each day, you will have the opportunity to learn about the different forms of dance and be provided with positive reinforcement throughout your time at camp. You will be indoors most of the time, but you will also have time outdoors to experience dancing in a natural surrounding. There will be a performance piece at 1 pm on the last day for parents/guardians to enjoy and experience what you have learned. There will be sections of the performance that campers will be grouped based on ability to encourage them to showcase their talent. This camp is co-ed for ages 8-18. DRESS: Please wear comfortable clothes but nothing made of denim. Wear anything that is appropriate for a gym class. Sneakers are great or jazz shoes.

0 Credits Undeclared division College for Kids Explore the diverse life living in small pools of water. Plants, insects, fish, crustaceans and possibly amphibians and reptiles will be investigated. The college campus has a few seasonal ponds; if these are active you will collect specimens using biological collection equipment. If the ponds are not active the instructor will provide live specimens. You will use two different types of microscopes to observe the smallest of creatures. The habitats and food webs of the creatures observed will be discussed and re-created. This camp is co-ed for ages 8-13. DRESS AND GEAR: Please bring topical insect repellent and be sure to put your child's name on the product's original plastic container with a permanent marker. Also bring waterproof footwear. SNACK: Campers may bring a snack and drink if desired.
