Reiki is an ancient hands-on healing art which is natural and non-envasive. Reiki is effective in relieving stress, pain, depression and panic disorders. It also promotes healing of skeletal fractures and has proven helpful in alleviating many other physical and emotional issues. Students will learn the basics of human energy and its relationship to health. This class is a hands-on experience. Certification and course manual are provided. 7.5 contact hours available for nurses. Bring a blanket and pillow. Saturday students also bring a lunch.

The Reiki III or Master Degree is a very powerful level of Reiki . It is recommended there should be a 6-month lapse of time between Reiki II and Reiki III (exception to the 6-month waiting period may be approved by the instructor on a case by case basis only). Introduction into Mastery includes: experiencing the Master meditation then the exciting attunement to the Master level, under- standing of the Master symbols, learning how to attune others to Reiki I and II as a form of self treatment, reviewing Reiki I, Reiki II, and energy exercises to enhance your developing ability. Master Usui Shiki Ryoho Certification and manual are provided. Bring your Reiki I and Reiki II Certificates for verification of completion. Saturday students bring your lunch. 8 contact hours available for nurses.

This ancient discipline combines mental concentration, breathing techniques and body movements which balance the body and mind. This may be practiced in a sitting, standing or laying position and benefits young, old, the physically fit and persons with physical challenges. Dress in clothing which allows comfortable body movement. Saturday students, bring a lunch.

In this workshop we will learn the essentials of Feng Shui including: the importance of chi, a working knowledge of all the sections of the bagua and an introduction in how to integrate the Five Element Theory into all aspects of our lives for greater health, wealth and happiness. On a practical level, we will focus on strenghtening both our homes and offices with the use of Feng Shui enhancements and cures. A wide array of traditional cures will be available.

Meditation is one way to begin finding your own inner peace, power, and happiness. Physiological research has shown that it allows the body to experience a deeper state of rest than during ordinary sleep thus allowing increased emotional stability and adaptability to life's challenges/ changes. In these sessions, you will have the opportunity to experience and learn relaxation techniques quided imagery and creative visualization. Reiki will be offered for those who wish to try this form of hands on energy healing. New and experienced mediators of all ages are welcome.
