Drawings will be derived from direct observation and instruction will emphasize descriptive drawing techniques of the human figure. This course will focus on fundamental concepts and visual communication skills necessary for graphic design. The creation of multiple page documents will be required, in both black and white and color, covering document construction, integration of word processing programs, working with images and topography, custom colors and standard output. The course will provide an introduction to the production of printed materials using illustrations and image manipulation software via computer.
