Topics on the history of collage and assemblage and the application of historical and contemporary techniques and concepts provide the impetus for production of works of art. The course utilizes a problem-solving format in order to develop knowledge of technical process formal vocabulary, and individual expression. Both historical and contemporary approaches in developing form and content are included.
