The course is conducted entirely in French. The language acquisition component focuses on the following: a) improving students' facility in speaking and writing French within 'real-life' contexts; b) analyzing the linguistic components of a speech sample: phonological, morphological, and syntactic; and c) expanding vocabulary and improving pronunciation and the use of grammatical structures.
