SART 240: Computer as a Creative Tool

The course focuses on the visualization of ideas and the exploration of new possibilities in the creation of fine art using digital tools as the medium of artistic expression. It will involve the learning and use of specialized graphic software in the creation of virtual works of art. Independent research will be mandatory and is determined by the student's projects. Visual communication and problem-solving discussion/studio exercises will lead up to a culminating final project that is geared toward the individual student¿s field of study. Six contact hours per week.
