An examination of late modernist and early postmodernist art of the past two decades through discussions of contemporary aesthetic theory and criticism. Emphasis is placed on researching the lives and work of contemporary artists and writing critical analysis of works of art. Visits to museums, galleries, artists¿ studios, and private collections are an integral part of this course.
