This course will provide individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and/or prevent the need for first aid and how to provide basic, first responder care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. The student, upon successful completion of the course and the ARC exams (no less than 80% correct on each exam), will acquire their American Red Cross First Aid and CPR cards. No prerequisites. Offered Fall, Spring and Summer.

International trade in resources, products, and assets will be analyzed from both static and dynamic perspectives, using modern trade models. It focuses on determinants of the direction of trade, potential gains from trade, and the links between international trade, income distribution, employment, and economic growth. The implications of trade blocs such as NAFTA and ED will be critically examined.
