This course will provide individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and/or prevent the need for first aid and how to provide basic, first responder care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. The student, upon successful completion of the course and the ARC exams (no less than 80% correct on each exam), will acquire their American Red Cross First Aid and CPR cards. No prerequisites. Offered Fall, Spring and Summer.
