(Formerly ART 269) Explores a variety of processes to create three-dimensional images in clay. Focuses on hand-built sculptures, without using a potter's wheel and relying on very basic tools. Encourages creative experimentation and engaging in the process. Three credits.

(Formerly ART 155) Develops an understanding and focus on manipulation of three dimensional form, with greater concentration on individual creativity and style. Three credits.

(Formerly ART 268) Focuses on advanced individual sculpture projects, emphasizing experimentation with materials, accomplished technique and conceptual significance. Prerequisite(s): None. Three credits.

Provides structured and guided, individualized research that is organized and tailored around the interests and needs of the individual student. Prerequisite(s): Permission of department chair is required. One to six credits.

Studies the basic fundamentals of livestock production pertaining to principles of breeding, genetics, nutrition, health, and physiology of beef, sheep, swine, dairy, and horses. Focuses on the Animal Science Industry in general and each species industry in regard to history, current situation, and future direction. Three credits.

Focuses on the basic nutrients, common feeds and feed additives, anatomy of digestive systems, and basic feeding practices for beef, sheep, and dairy. The lab portion of the class is devoted to calculating and balancing rations to fulfill nutrient requirement for farm animals for growth, finishing, reproduction, lactation, work, and wool production. Explores least cost ration balancing on the computer. Four credits.

2.00 Credits
Provides students with safety instruction in the shop and on the Automobile. Emphasis is placed on the proper use and care of test equipment, precision measuring and machining equipment, gaskets, adhesives, tubing, wiring, jacks, presses, and cleaning equipment and techniques. Prerequisite(s): None. Two credits.

Prepares the incoming automotive student to work in the shop safely and gain familiarity with the shop and common equipment. Prerequisite(s): ASE 101 or permission of Department. Two credits.
