Students learn to write a wide variety of internal public relations materials, including backgrounders, position papers, proposals, letters, memos, speeches and crisis communication plans. Students develop a crisis communication plan for a nonprofit organization as a service-learning project. Letter grade only (A-F). Lecture 2 hours, Laboratory 2 hours.
