The course begins with a study of suffixes and prefixes common to most of the body systems and guidelines for combining word parts and forming plurals. This is followed by a study of each body system and oncological terminology. Any student who is planning a career in any facet of the health care industry will find this course beneficial. An Academic Achievement Center instructor is available to work with students to establish specific goals, administer tests and provide individualized instruction as needed to complete the student's program.
