Examples are taken from engineering applications. Prerequisites: Math 233 or equivalent.

  • (3:3:0) Prerequisite: MATH 2350 or consent of department. Descriptive statistics, elementary probability, random variables and distributions, mean, variance, parameter estimation, hypothesis testing, regression, analysis of variance. MATH 3342 and 4342 cannot both be counted toward a mathematics major or minor.
