3-0-3 In this course students survey the research and theories of the science of human behavior with a particular focus on human mental processes. Among the topics discussed are development, learning, memory, perception, personality, motivation, social behavior, abnormal behavior and therapy. Also included is an introduction to the various careers associated with psychology. Key to the study of psychology is the scientific method and how it is applied to the analysis and measurement of individuals and groups.
