  • Presents biological concepts and unifying themes. This course introduces science majors to the nature and process of science, the unity and diversity of living things, plant and animal form and function, and principles of ecology and evolution. Laboratory work reinforces lecture and emphasizes experimental design, observation, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
