The information presented is an unofficial guide to how courses may transfer. If you complete the following at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College:

  • 4 Semester Hours Prerequisite: RDG 090, ENL 099 OR minimum acceptable test scores for placement in college-level English and reading. Laboratory Course: 3 hours lecture, 2 hours laboratory work each week. An anatomy-physiology course that examines the general plan of body cells, tissues, and six major systems. Includes the function of integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, somatic and special senses, and the endocrine systems. A laboratory course designed to unify basic concepts of inorganic and organic chemistry to bring about a better understanding of the structure and function of the human body as relevant to health care.

You may receive up to 3.00 credits at Wilmington University:

  • Students in this course explore the structure and function of the human body. Basic terminology to describe the structure of the body while explaining the basic concepts of body function are presented. The student is introduced to the principles of operation of the major organ systems in healthy humans. Please be advised that this course may involve dissection. Students who have a moral or religious objection may not be required to perform dissection, but may participate in other ways as assigned by the instructor.

Credits awarded for incoming transfer courses will be determined when an official transfer evaluation is completed upon the receipt of official transcripts. Credits taken on a quarter system are adjusted for semester credit hour conversion. Total number of transfer credits awarded is dependent on the Wilmington University program of study and up to the 90 credit maximum.
