This course introduces students to the many forms of inquiry and analysis conducted in the humanities, especially philosophy, and the perennial questions that philosophy addresses. Students engage a diverse range of primary texts in ethics and ethical theory, both classical and contemporary, western and non-western. They also view and analyze films and other media that present ethical arguments.
