    Yes! SRU has a long-standing history of providing excellent service to transfer students. The admission, scholarship, and credit evaluation processes are housed in the Undergraduate Admissions Office, making possible a streamlined transition.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    2.0 and Academic Good Standing. Some academic majors may require a higher cumulative GPA for admission to their programs.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts are required from each post-secondary institution. An official high school transcript is required if the applicant has attempted less than 30 college credits.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT/ACT scores are not required of transfer students.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Letters of recommendation are optional.
  • Essay:
    Essays are optional.
  • Application Fee:
    $30 application fee is required.
  • Interview:
    Interviews are not required.
  • Associates Degree Required:
    Associate Degrees are not required.
  • Other Requirements:
    Applicants to Nursing programs are asked to submit proof of RN licensure, once earned. Applicants who have military experience are encouraged to submit a JST or CCAF transcript for consideration of college credit.
