  • Introduction to materials and traditional techniques as applied to painting as a fine art. Focus on visual awareness, technical ability and conceptual input with investigation of intuitive and creative approaches. Subject matter drawn from still life, landscape/nature, interior spaces and the human form. Special Note: May be repeated once for credit with substantive changes in media or emphasis. May be stacked with: ART A313, ART A413 and ART A414
