P This course is intended as a one-semester biology experience for the student whose career emphasis is not focused on the sciences. It is intended to help the student construct a framework for the interpretation of interrelationships between all living systems. It includes the cell concept, multicellular organization and reproduction; the taxonomy, morphology and physiology of important groups of the animal and plant kingdoms; and the study of the organism-environmental relationships. The lab experience is an integral part of the course and will consist of weekly experiences paralleling the topics covered in the lecture. Corequisite: BSC2005L
