The primary goal of this course is to help students become intelligent consumers of marketing concepts, marketing applications, and marketing terminology. The focus of the class will begin with a foundation of basic introductory material, terminology, history, and an environmental and ethics analysis. The remainder of the class will focus on developing an in-depth understanding of the marketing mix: product, distribution, promotion, and price. Pre-requisites: CIS 112, CIS 114 and CIS 118.
