Financial statements are also prepared, compared and analyzed with emphasis on using the statements.   • Description: This course provides an introduction to the use of accounting information by managers to plan, control, and make decisions. Topics include cost accounting systems, cost-volume-profit analysis, budgetary planning, incremental analysis, and pricing. Notes: Offered in fall, spring and summer. Prerequisites: C- or better in CSCI 101B or 101E, ACCT 280 and MATH 151, 101, 105, or 201.
