Basic managerial analysis and analytical decision skills are developed from the decision maker's point of view. The course focuses on the concepts of planning and control in decision making; manufacturing and cost accounting, control, and analysis; budgeting, planning, and variance analysis; and financial decision making including product pricing, asset acquisition, make or buy, and allocating scarce resource decisions. (Prerequisite: Acct. 101.) Fall and spring.
