    A variety of federal, state, and local financial aid programs are available to qualified students who might otherwise find it difficult or impossible to attend Nashville State Community College. Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Submit transcripts from all previously attended institutions. Students may also be required to submit an official high school transcript or official GED score report.
  • SAT Scores:
    Applicants under the age of 21 should submit ACT or SAT scores. If fewer than 60 semester hours have been attempted, the ACT or SAT scores are used to determine in which areas the applicant may be required to complete college prep course work.
  • Application Fee:
    Submit a completed Application for Admissions and a $20 non-refundable application fee.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    NSCC only transfers in equivalent courses in which a grade “C” or better was earned.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    You must earn at least 25% of credit hours required for the degree through instruction delivered by NSCC. Associate degree students must earn the last 15 hours preceding graduation from NSCC.
