    Transfer students may earn advanced standing credit by transferring credits earned by completing coursework at other colleges/universities.
  • Transfer Applicants Enrolled:
    Each year up to 150 students transfer to Xavier.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    High school and college transcripts, from every institution attended, are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT/ACT scores are required if applying with less than 30 transferable credits.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    A counselor recommendation (a recommendation from a current professor may be substituted) is required.
  • Essay:
    An essay is required (250-500 words) if applying with less than 30 transferrable credits.
  • Application Fee:
    $35 nonrefundable fee for paper applications. No fee for online applications.
  • Interview:
    Not required for admissions consideration.
  • Other Requirements:
    A listing of all courses for which you are currently enrolled is required.
