WCU offers baccalaureate degrees in the areas of the Arts and Letters; Education and Natural and Behavioral Sciences; Business; Religion; Music; and Nursing. The M.B.A., M.Ed., M.S. in psychology, M.Ed. in music and M.S. in biomedical science, and M.S.N. degrees and a specialist degree in elementary education are also offered. Three trimesters of eleven weeks each comprise the academic year. Two summer sessions are also offered.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Students must possess a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale on all college work previously attempted and be in academic good standing from the last institution attended to be considered for transfer admission.
  • Official Transcripts:
    A complete and official academic transcript from each college previously attended is required. For students with fewer than 12 transfer hours, your official high school transcript is required.
  • SAT Scores:
    For students with fewer than 12 transfer hours, your official ACT or SAT scores are required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $40 nonrefundable application fee.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Grades of D will not transfer if the student has a cumulative grade point average on all transfer credit for all college work attempted of less than 2.0. William
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 64 semester hours (60 for the B.S.N.) earned in a community/junior college may be applied toward a degree at William Carey University.
