    Transfer students are eligible for merit based scholarships, ranging from $9,000 - $17,500 per year. Scholarship awards are based on the student's cumulative grade point average from all prior institutions. A student must be enrolled for a full-time course load to receive scholarship.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    2.00 cumulative grade point average; 3.00 cumulative grade point average to be considered for the School of Nursing (see "other requirements"); 2.50 cumulative grade point average for the School of Engineering (see "other requirements")
  • Official Transcripts:
    An official transcript from every post-secondary institution the student has attended is required. A high school transcript is required if the student has completed less than 12 transferrable credits.
  • SAT Scores:
    Required if student has completed less than 12 transferrable credits.

    Applicants for Nursing will only be considered for admission if their cumulative gpa is a 3.00 or higher. Admission is highly competitive. Applicants for Engineering must meet 2.50gpa and have a "C" in Calculus I & Chem or Physics

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Only courses with a grade of "C" or higher will be considered for transfer credit. Courses must be credit-bearing, non-developmental, and academic-based. Credit will only be transferred from institutions that hold regional accreditation.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 64 credits may be transferred from a community or junior college.
